worked by Tatting
is a particularly durable knotted lace that can be traced back to the early
19th century. This lovely handkerchief edging was handcrafted in size
80 thread by a guild member as a gift for a friend.
The pattern for this tatted edging comes from the
book, "Tatting for Special Occasions Edgings" by Lindsay Rogers. It was
tatted directly onto a pink cotton handkerchief.
